Space Shuttle Discovery Final Flight - Flyby and Landing at Dulles Airpo...

My personal favorite video of the landing of Space Shuttle Discovery at Dulles International Airport, on her way to her installation at the National Air and Space Museum Annex. Back in the day, I had my first experiences in volunteer archaeology as a high school student at Sully Plantation, right across the road from Dulles. When I was excavating there, the Concorde was taking off and landing from Dulles and the Space Shuttles had yet to take their first flights (the first one taking off and landing when I was a senior in college, getting undergraduate degrees in Anthropology and History).

Watch this video closely as you will never see this sight again!
