Memorial Day Reflections

In honor of our nation's warriors, the men and women of the Armed Forces who have fought for our freedom, J.S. Brooks Presents: Snap Judgment's G.I. episode: Hear stories of how our armed forces members and their families are faring today.

Here as well are two biblical verses of inspiration for those who serve and their families:

Those who wait for the Lord shall renew
their strength,
they shall mount up with wings like eagles,
they shall run and not be weary
they shall walk and not faint.
Isaiah 40.31

What does the Lord require of you
but to do justice, and to love kindness,
and to walk humbly with your God?
Micah 6.8

Our prayers go out today to all the men and women who have given everything they had in the service of their country, their families, and all of our freedom, to their families, and their friends. May you rest in the loving arms of God.
