President Obama Makes a Statement on the Shooting in Newtown, Connecticut

Today was a tragic day for our nation. This video of the President struggling with his emotions as a father making this brief statement to the grieving families in Newtown, Connecticut, after losing 20 grade school children and 7 adults to a disturbed 20 year old man carrying multiple guns into the building. I was especially moved as the halting delivery of Barack Obama in this message reminded me very much of delivering my Mom's eulogy on October 31, 2012. Thank you for this moving message Mr. President.

I am praying for the grieving families in Newtown, Connecticut, and their friends, and the police department who now has to deal with the aftermath of this tragedy. Please join me.
