So, a few years back, I was intrigued and amused when studies showed more UFO sightings along the track of Russian rocket launches. Suddenly folks were seeing strange lights in the skies while manned and unmanned missions lifted off from Baikonur.
This dovetailed well with the Chinese of Heilongjiang province suddenly feeling themselves under attack as three strange objects burned their way out of the sky to smash into the local landscape. Alien attacks and UFO crashes were bandied about. Of course, this occurred at the same time a Russian rocket failed to reach orbit with a satellite and was destroyed. It's likely the debris is much more illegal alien material than extraterrestrial in origins, crossing borders in a fiery wreck care of the Russian space program. Still, it took me back to the old days for a few minutes. I was sort of hoping the ol' Mothman (or a dalek) might make a fleeting appearance among the debris.
Wishing you strange days and stranger news!
